Lume opens 31st store in Michigan

Lume Cannabis Co., among the largest single-state adult-use operator in the U.S., has opened its 31st Michigan store, and first of 2022.

“We are excited to bring our unmatched variety of THC and CBD products to medical patients in the Southfield community,” says Doug Hellyar, president and COO of Lume. “At Lume, we take pride in providing relief to patients through our safe and high-quality cannabis products. The Southfield location will allow us to support even more medical consumers in southeast Michigan and we hope to begin serving the community’s recreational needs in the near future.”

Lume’s Southfield store is located at 26760 Lahser Rd. It will serve medical patients 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturdays and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The Southfield location marks the first Lume store opening of 2022, with 13 additional adult-use stores to come this year. The effort is part of Lume’s goal of having 100 adult-use stores open throughout Michigan by 2024.

“We are thrilled to continue giving back to the Michigan communities we serve as our adult-use stores provide much-needed tax revenue to support schools, first responders and local economies,” Hellyar says. “At Lume, we take great pride in serving the unique cannabis needs of every Michigander across the state and we are excited to now serve the Southfield community and southeast Michigan.”

Lume offers more than 20 strains of cannabis flower, lines of effects-based Lume Cartridges and Lume Gummies, a line of Lume-branded CBD-infused tinctures, balms, body butters and more. All Lume flower is grown and cultivated in a facility in Evart, MI.
