Scofflaw Brewing hemp-infused beverages lineup

Georgia-based brewery Scofflaw Brewing has decided to join the nascent hemp market through the launch of its latest line of THC-infused beverages. Available in two flavors — Lemonade and Sweet Tea — each can contains 5mg of THC and zero calories.

“We are excited to expand the Scofflaw brand into the growing market of sober-curious beverages since this is an avenue we have been looking at for quite some time,” says chief operating officer JP Watts. “We also have the unique capability to contract produce or white-label for brands interested in creating and crafting their own product in this new and growing space. Scofflaw has been doing this in the beer market successfully for quite some time but now has the ability to expand into the hemp-derived beverage industry. We are here to put out great products and help others do the same.”

Branching Off Into the Hemp Market

According to Matt Moore, VP of sales and marketing at Scofflaw Brewing, their team has been looking at the next big thing in the beverage space ever since they launched their line of hard seltzers back in 2019.

“From there, we have kept an eye on what is up and coming in the market with shifting trends and demographics amongst drinkers and constantly are developing new products to try to bring to the market,” he says. “We believe the hemp-infused beverage and non-alcoholic space is something that is here to stay, especially with the changing consumption patterns in the market and people looking for alternatives to traditional alcoholic beverages.”

Scofflaw’s line of THC-infused beverages can be found at their tap rooms, in stores throughout Georgia and shortly throughout the Southeast.

“We are also releasing Strawberry Lemonade, Sweet Tea Lemonade and Passionfruit in August, so there will shortly be five different flavors in the market,” notes Moore.

Scofflaw Aids Other Companies in Launching Alternative Beverages

According to Moore, Scofflaw is planning on helping other companies branch into the cannabis beverage space through its contract production capabilities. With their expertise, the brewery will help others with conceptualizing, formulating and packaging hemp-infused beverages.

In addition, Scofflaw is partnering with emulsion manufacturers to ensure quality and safe ingredients are featured in the brewery’s own products, as well as those they help create, the company states.

While Scofflaw helps other brands with their own beverage lines, Moore says they also plan on continuing to expand their own product offering.

“As we learn more about everyone’s tastes and preferences in this market, we will continue to release new flavors and potentially new lines to adapt as the space evolves,” he says. “Also, as regulations allow, there is opportunity to have different levels of hemp dosage to further differentiate our offerings.”

For Scofflaw THC-infused beverages, 4-packs of their 5mg cans retail for $16.99 while singles retail for about $5 per can.
