Opening just in time for 4/20 celebrations, Silver Cannabis Company announced its second dispensary opening in New York located at 10 Executive Park Drive, Albany, 12203. Revitalizing what was formerly a VeriLife medical dispensary, Silver Cannabis Company is the eighth dispensary under the Silver Therapeutics brand.
The dispensary will host its ribbon cutting on Thursday, April 17th at 10 a.m. EST in conjunction with the local chamber of commerce, according to the company. The grand opening celebration will take place on Friday, April 18th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m. EST. The grand opening celebrations will continue throughout the weekend.
“We are excited and grateful to officially serve the Albany community,” said Brendan McKee, co-founder and COO, Silver Therapeutics, in a news release. “When we opened Silver Therapeutics in Williamstown back in 2019, folks from Albany were driving over daily for our cannabis wellness products. To be able to operate in Albany as Silver Cannabis Company and reconnect with these customers is a dream come true. Thank you to the incredible community of Albany for welcoming us. We can’t wait to see you!”
By working closely with local organizations and giving back, Silver Cannabis Company will bring more than just cannabis products to the area, according to the company. The grand opening will even feature a charity drive to support local residents with non-perishable food items and clothing.
Attendees of the grand opening celebration can also expect to enjoy music from a live DJ, food from Mission BBQ, relaxing cannabis-infused massages, a photo booth to commemorate the event, hot chocolate from Grön, hot cider from Ayrloom, mocktails from MyHi, ice cream and live painting by local artist, Kque.
